This year's winners, per the foundation's website: El Pomar Food Bank of Colorado, $10,000; Colorado Children's Hospital Foundation, $10,000; El Pomar Food Bank of New Mexico, $10,000; Colorado Children's Hospital Foundation, $10,000; and the Huerfano County Library, $10,000.

The Charities Aid Foundation has set up a scheme, called the Social Enterprise Assist, that will render interest-free loans of up to £10,000 each to help social enterprise start-ups.
